MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) organized Annual Management Fest "MIME éCLat 2020" under the theme “Et Sollertis Animi" which means "The Mastermind" on 25 and 26 February 2020. The theme of the conference which was coined after intensive brain-storming highlighted the fact that the final move of all champions starts within an individual’s mind and to win any mind, one needs to work on his/her mind first, finally to emerge as a Mastermind.
In his inaugural address on the 22nd Feb, when the Fest was declared open by Shri. Ravindra Bhandary and Dr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra, both of them highlighted the importance of participating in competitive events such as fests with a positive and learning mindset because learning is emerging as a key requirement to face the fast-changing world. The fest witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 171 students representing eminent institutions located across the state.
The constituent rounds of eight management and two cultural events were spread over two days. These rounds provided the young minds with an opportunity to showcase their creative, constructive and competitive talents and ideas. The management events of the fest pertained to Best Manager, Best Management Team, Business Plan, Business Quiz, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Resources, Marketing and Finance, whereas Group Dance and Fashion Show were the two cultural events. The participating students found these events as an opportunity to express their physical, emotional and intellectual abilities, and cultural sensitivity. In addition, the festival enabled the participants to hone their managerial skills in a competitive scenario.
The valedictory session of the fest was held on 26 February 2020. The two days’ fest was a grand success which concluded with the words of encouragement by the very renowned personalities RJ Jimmy of 95.0 Radio Mirchi and Model and Diva Ms. Sneha Vashishth, who presided over the valedictory function and distributed trophies, prizes and certificates. Christ Institute of Management (Main Campus), Bengaluru won the Overall Championship, whereas, Christ College, Kengeri Campus, Bengaluru was adjudged as the Overall Runner-Up.
