MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) joined the 11th CSR event of “Volunteer4India” titled “Everyday Ability Series” jointly organized by “Firefox” and “Adventures Beyond barriers Foundation” on 2 March 2019 in Bangalore.
It was a Wheel Chair Cricket organized for the “Divyangs” to facilitate them having fun and thrill of playing cricket. The main aim of this series of the event was to build an ecosystem grounded in the principles of dialogue, acceptance, and equality for all. It also works for dispelling misconception surrounding persons with Disability (PwDs), proving that disability is not an obstacle to adventure.
The participants comprised of the Divyangs having come from different states across the country. They demonstrated outstanding zeal and commitment while playing. They appeared as excited and as adventurous as any other players.
As its commitment to contribute to society, student volunteers of MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) along with the faculty and staff coordinator for CSR also joined the event and contributed to their joy and excitement of the Divyang participants.
