MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) organized its Annual Management Fest MIME éCLat 2018 on 23 and 24 March 2018 under the enticing theme “Zeige Die Macht” which decodes to “Game of Power”. The idea was to offer an opportunity to the budding managers to test their ability to decide, to construct and to survive and thereby grow despite adversities. This management extravaganza comprised of events involving multiple dynamics of Corporate, Social, Financial and Managerial Intricacies. MIME éCLat attracted vibrant and talented participants from ten leading management institutions from Karnataka. The event witnessed a total of 137 participants from various Institutions who competed to prove their business acumen.
The event offered creative and challenging environment for the best minds from B-schools to compete and prove their mettle to win the coveted crown. The event MIME éCLat comprised of total thirteen events, out of which seven were management events, one CSR event and five cultural events.
The management events comprised of Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Best Manager, Business Quiz, Business Plan and Best Management Team. All the events had multiple rounds which tried to challenge the students’ ability to deal with uncertain complex and adverse situations arising in meeting their organisational objectives. It also assessed the students in terms of their leadership skills, team work and professional etiquettes. The cultural events comprised of Group Dance, Solo Dance, Solo Singing, Beat Boxing and Fashion Show. Students showcased their talents by performing different dance forms, singing Classical and Bollywood songs. In Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event, the students were asked to come up with their own program and ideas to support Government initiatives to help society and preserve environment. The participants also came up with innovative products made from waste materials.
The fest was supported for its finances and other activities by large number of sponsors. The Platinum Sponsor was K Bichaiah and Sons and Powered by South Indian Shopping Mall, Salon Essential, Body craft Academy, Manipal Hospitals, Red Bull, Starbucks Coffee, AR-IT Solutions, Swami and Associates, UNIBIC Cookies and Mangalore Jewels.
The event was a grand success which concluded with the encouragement of Hon'ble Chairman BOG, Dr. Chenraj Roychand, who presided over the valedictory and addressed the students.
The Overall Championship was won by KRISTU JAYANTI College while Indus Business Academy stood as overall runner up.
