Learning in real-world happen from multiple sources viz., teachers, peers, and self-introspection, thus, for a learning to be complete, the contribution from one’s peers is immense. Further, the “motivation” which helps to sustain the enthusiasm is an essential requirement for any fruitful learning. Keeping these two basic aspects of learning in mind, MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) has organized an interactive motivational talk on 18 February 2017.
Sri. Shashank N, the MIME PGDM Fourth Semester student and who hails from a business family background was the facilitator. In his inimitable style, Shashank presented the different dimensions of Motivation and Personality Development in front of his fellow MATSonians. He covered the fundamentals of commitment and goal setting which both interestingly converge into belief in oneself. He further highlighted the importance of time in one’s life and the need to be sensitive to the opportunities that everyday life presents before us. The interactive session was followed by Question and Answer session which provided further insights into the phenomenon of releasing energy into our day-to-day actions.
The interactive session which worked on the “buddy-ship” mode was well received by the PGDM students as evident from the number and diversity of queries raised during the interactive talk and by the feedback provided at the end.
