Economic and Financial Club of MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) organized a workshop – Treasure of Investment: Dealing with the Volatility of Stock Market for the PGDM students on 16 August 2017 with Sri. Kishore B.S., Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Educesta Global Services Private Limited.
The speaker educating the audience said that BSE Sensex and NSE Index provides a broad clue about the investors’ sentiments i.e., whether it is favoring investment (referred to as bullish) and not-favoring investment (referred to as bearish). In his own inimitable style, the speaker has illustrated several practical examples, wherein he could get the crux of the microtrends by carefully observing and analyzing the linkage between the philosophy of the company and the emerging requirements of the society.
The speaker highlighted his own ability to successfully predict the share price movements with respect to Royal Enfield (owned by Eicher Motors Ltd.), Jockey (promoted by Page Industries Ltd.), Café Coffee Day (division of Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Ltd. - ABCTCL), Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) and Mirza International Ltd. (manufacturer of Red Tape) and earn substantial amount. The speaker further emphasized the mechanism of the stock market and Demat Account necessary for online trading.
