MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) organized a Workshop on Organizational Development and HR Intervention on 3 January 2019 for the HR students of the PGDM batch 2017-2019 to blend the conceptual knowledge of organizational development with the real practices.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Subin Muraleedharan, Head and Consultant of OD Alternatives for Bangalore Branch. He is an Electronic Engineer and the alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He comes with rich expertise as OD Consultant with specialization in behavioral change and leadership development interventions. He has been Guest speaker on Innovation, systems thinking at forums and management institutes.
He exposed the students to various OD issues prevailing in the industry through case studies and discussion with presentations. He started the session with the statement “OD not only solves a problem but creates all the new possibilities” which gave the discussion a new way to learn and understand. The main focus of the workshop was on various issues like the difference between OD Consulting and Management Consulting, Humanistic Values and Holistic Approach in the Industry, Integral Model, Effectiveness Vs. Efficiencies, Change and Transformation, Diagnostic OD to Dialogical OD and Triple Loop Model.
