MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship organized International exposure - Visit to Singapore for the Students of PGDM 2018 – 20 Batch from July to 6 August 2019. The visit was designed to offer students an opportunity to interact with people of different nationalities in different cultures.
This visit helped the students to complete their certification course from Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS). The students had a lively interaction at MDIS. The workshop gave an insight into individual personality, self-awareness program and most importantly the focus was on sharpening leadership skills which help in personality building and skill enhancement tool to the student for their career building. The students were taken to the Monetary Authority of Singapore as well as the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore which gave an insight on the financial policies of Singapore and its implementation on the Economy and exposing students to “How fishing Harbor” was turned into world’s best attraction within a span of twenty to twenty five years of focused efforts by the Government with the support from citizens. The authorities explained how the economy was planned and developed with social welfare as a focal point. Students also were exposed to planning department activities, on the future development of the city.
Students even went through the city tour in Singapore exposing the students to various parts of Singapore. Students learned the benefits of being disciplined, adhering to the commitment to society and environment; eco-friendly, rule consciousness and keeping a high standard of loyalty and advocacy towards the country. Visit to the Sentosa Island and the Universal Studio was filled learning for the students.
