MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) recognizes the importance of convocation day in a student's life. The occasion recognizes years of hard work of students and provides them an opportunity to celebrate with their family members, who with several of their sacrifices made the day possible. In addition, convocation day at the post-graduate level signifies the beginning of responsibilities wherein one needs to continuously respond to the changing expectations from different stakeholders of the society since post-graduates constitute a small portion of the Indian population. Considering these aspects, MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) organized the convocation ceremony for PGDM 2019-21 batch on September 26, 2021.

With dignitaries lighting the lamp, the ceremony began, followed by a prayer to lead an individual from darkness to light and from ignorance to the path of knowledge. Officiating for chairman and board of governors, the Director - MIME, Dr. H. Muralidharan, formally declared the convocation open. Mr. Ravi Kumar K.M. from MIME welcomed the gathering and expressed gratitude to faculty, staff, students, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders for making the convocation day happen.

Dr. H. Muralidharan welcomed the guests, dignitaries, and students attending the ceremony. Presenting the report on behalf of the institute, Dr. Muralidharan highlighted the salient achievements of the MATS Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (MIME) during the period between 2019 and 2021. He complimented the graduating students for their excellent levels of co-operation with the institute while negotiating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Further, Dr. Muralidharan congratulated the new graduates on their academic success and wished them all the best for their future endeavors.

Mr. Mahesh C.S., Co-Founder and CEO of Heraizen Technologies Private Ltd. was the chief guest. He handed over the medals and merit certificates to the achievers from PGDM 2019-21 batch. Delivering the convocation address, Mr. Mahesh urged the graduating students to recognize the importance of six points during the entire course of their professional journey; curiosity to know, focus on details, the importance of ownership and accountability, finishing ability, the value of teamwork, and maintaining the drive within. Detailing the importance of each of these six points, Mr. Mahesh emphasized the need for constant contemplation on these six points.

Dr. H. Muralidharan handed over post-graduate diploma certificates to 69 students in person and 35 students in absentia and administered the MATS Graduation Oath. Professor Reji Mephrahe conducted the proceedings of the ceremony in coordination with Dr. Suman Pathak. Dr. Suman Pathak delivered the formal vote of thanks. The function formally concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

The following students of the PGDM 2018-20 batch were honored with medals and merit certificates:
