Personal development in college can occur in various ways. For instance, I had access to a diverse range of clubs and organisations that helped me develop new interests and hobbies. This led to new friendships, networking opportunities, and personal fulfillment. Additionally, MIME provides a unique environment for personal growth through exposure to different perspectives, cultures, and ideas. This broadened my worldview, enhanced my critical thinking skills, and increased my self-awareness. For professional development, MIME offers a variety of resources and opportunities to help students prepare for their future careers. For instance, I could attend career fairs, workshops, and networking events to connect with potential leaders and gain valuable insight into their desired career fields. MIME encourages internships and co-op programmes that allow students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study, which can be highly beneficial when applying for jobs.

I secured an internship at Neutrinos thanks to placement aid at MIME, and at the beginning of my third semester, I also received a pre-placement offer. After my third semester, Convert Cart, a US company, employed me soon after. The placement cell, which works closely with them, invites leading businesses and organisations to campus for recruitment drives and networking events. To assist students in making educated judgments about their career paths, MIME offers career advising and counselling services.
